Tying the knot: Jun & En Qi

Posted on Jul 1, 2015 in Events

I will start this post by saying, I may be bias but I love how this wedding went by – maybe Clair de lune was playing on my headphone when i wrote this but still I love the simplicity and how family + friends came together, be it near or very very far away.

It drizzled a little, and I am glad it did, otherwise the weather can be a little unforgiving. We had to photograph some of our group photos outdoor and everyone was dashing in and out – it seems that they were having fun – amused by the fact that we are photographing and laughing under the rain. It was nice though that the best men team took turns to shade me a little with umbrella, i was like “shade my gears not me!!”. Thankfully the drizzle stopped and we had a lot more fun by the beach.

A birthday party fit for lil A!

Posted on Apr 29, 2014 in Events, Family

Don’t we all love birthday parties. I know its a lot of work … the invitation, things to prepare, logistic, activities and of course engaging a photographer (I assure you that this should be the easiest portion). Am positive that it is all worth it in the end and especially in years to come where you can talk about the different things you do for your kid’s birthday.

I have pretty early memories of my childhood birthdays, although its on a much smaller scale and involves mainly family members only, I remembered that I would pose beside a black forest cake – I guess it was my favourite even back then hahaha, and I will try to form what seems to be a smile on my face, this must be the reason why never got a call back for any child modelling gig.

Here’s to Lil A … now, 4 years young! tadaaaa ….

Malaysian Kids & Halloween Series

Posted on Oct 28, 2013 in Events, Family, Holiday

Halloween is not really something that Malaysian celebrates (or culturally applicable) and I am guessing that most of us don’t really understand the actual meaning behind it as well *googling what is halloween’*.

For kids, it is probably defined as, dress-up-as-my-favorite-character-OR-what-my-Mom-thinks-is-a-scary-costume PLUS (the most important of all) trick-or-treating … candies!!! or play a prank if no treats was given (we often forgot about this) ~ emotional threat … woooo scary.

And of course … the ever curious ME, decides to find out, how our Malaysian kiddos are fairing in the Halloween dress up!

So here goes ….

*BOO!*

Aren’t our Malaysian parents creative? It does take a lot of imagination and effort to create those costumes.

I love the in between moments, between prepared and casual. They are always full of expressions!
